On 28/31 January, the ª edition of the Messe Essen, the world biggest exhibition of floriculture, took place.  Flora Toscana together with more than 1400 exhibitors from all over the world presented their latest plant, technology floriculture and gardening assortment with a special focus on ustainability and climate change, with a wide range of innovative solutions for a greener future .

Our stand, n° – located in Hall 2, stood out for its warm and welcoming atmosphere provided by the image of an avenue of cypress trees typical of our region, Tuscany,  and for an assortment of cut flowers, foliages and potted plants production coming from our members. Particular interest was aroused by our Ruscus Premium Quality,  in semi-vacuum-packed bags, a guarantee of quality and freshness.

Flora Toscana successfully participated in the 2023 edition of the IFTF (International Floriculture Trade Fair), which was held in Vijhuizen, Holland, from 8 to 10 November.

The IFTF fair is one of the most important events in the horticultural sector worldwide, with over 300 exhibitors and thousands of visitors from all over the world.

Flora Toscana presented its vast range of products, including ranunculus, anemones, calla lilies, foliage and ilex reciso as well as the renowned collections of Proteaceae and Australian flora.

“Participation in the IFTF fair was a very positive experience for us,” declared Simone Bartoli, director of Flora Toscana. “We had the opportunity to present our products to an international audience, consolidate relationships with our commercial partners and thus strengthening our position on the market.

We are pleased to announce that Flora Toscana will participate to the 2023 edition of the International Floriculture Trade Fair (IFTF) which will be  in Vijhuizen, Holland.

The IPM Essen 2023 exhibition will open on January 24th, the most important international event in the green sector where Flora Toscana will be present again.

Pavilion 2 – Stand A13

Here, from the 24th to the 27th January, exhibitors from all over the world will present their innovative products and services in the fields of plants, technology, floriculture and gardening. Among the main themes of Myplant & Garden 2023 are climate change and sustainability.

Flora Toscana will be presenting its assortment of potted plants including Wax Flower and Camelia varieties.

International Women’s Day – 8th of March 2022

Since 1946 Mimosa is the symbol flower dedicated to Women’s Day, especially in Italy and Eastern countries.

Symbol of strength, sensitivity and delicacy, it continues to be the favorite gift to give to women on this special day.

At Flora Toscana this year we are satisfied, the quantity of mimosa, especially the Gauloise variety, has responded very well to market demand. Even in terms of quality, the product did very well, despite the low temperatures the dry climate meant that the quality of the product was excellent.

In numerical terms, for Flora Toscana, March 8, 2022 meant a + 25% of Mimosa supplies coming mainly from our partners based in the region of Liguria corresponding to a + 25% of packages sold, over 500,000 pieces, in various weights and formats.

Despite fears about the increase of raw materials, especially packaging, transport and the sad winds of war coming from Eastern Europe, the market, in all its channels, has proved a successful one.

50th anniversary of Flora Toscana

An Unforgettable Party!

It was a very special party, full of emotions and moments to remember, difficult to condense in a video of a few minutes, but we tried. 50 years that the cooperative wanted to celebrate with members, employees, friends and their families.

The confirmation that the heart of Flora Toscana are the people! During the evening, thanks also to the sympathy of Leonardo Fiaschi, we retraced the 50 years of the company in a fun and playful way, but there was also room for the awards with the President Paolo Batoni and the director Simone Bartoli who wanted to deliver a plaque of recognition to the founding members and collaborators of Flora Toscana who have now retired and who accompanied the cooperative to this important milestone.

A symbolic gift, but full of meaning, which really moved.
