A project created to strengthen the floriculture supply chain, generating real value for agricultural producers. In collaboration with Flor-Export, we work on production, environmental and commercial solutions capable of addressing the sector’s challenges and restoring competitiveness to the raw materials at the heart of the supply chain.

SUBSED shows that waste can become a resource. The project focuses on the conversion of dredged marine sediments into commercial growing substrates, applying techniques that are sustainable from both an environmental and economic perspective. A concrete example of circular economy applied to floriculture.

Lecosflo includes targeted actions to improve product pre-conditioning, introduce low-impact packaging systems and test innovative solutions to enhance the quality and longevity of floriculture products.

The project was created to provide structure and a shared vision to one of Italy’s most important floriculture districts. The aim is to encourage collaboration, innovation and shared development among businesses, institutions and the local area, strengthening the entire local production system.
